Overview

Clay’s litigation experience through trial and appeal spans disputes concerning personal injuries, contracts, corporate governance, real property, and infringement. Across practice areas, his varied experience registering clients’ trademark rights, running a technology start up, writing property and casualty insurance policies, and his competitive sports upbringing, inform a zealous yet circumspect approach to representing the best interests of his clients in stubborn pursuit of the best available result.

After graduating from Texas A&M School of Law as an editor for Law Review and with a concentration in intellectual property, Clay gained valuable experience in all phases of litigation at a national defense firm where he honed his abilities both as a brief writer and oral advocate.

Originally from Michigan, Clay is an avid supporter of all Detroit sports teams, and when not practicing, he enjoys traveling, exercising, and spending time with family.
